Verified Great experience in Kampot Great bike tour accompanied by Pheap and his student who took lots of pictures of us, it makes great memories! We saw the countryside as we would never have seen it without him and could visit locals who harvest rice, make noodles out of it, harvest cane sugar or weave baskets. Great experience! Be careful it's hot plan enough to protect yourself:) Gene2025-01-03Verified Beautiful bike ride to discover local crafts Very nice bike ride to discover the country roads of Kampot and local crafts! The guide shares with enthusiasm and kindness about his city and community. The bikes are in good condition, light, and a helmet is provided.:) The road is not difficult (it is flat) and bikes adapted to pass crevices and stony roads. The paths are peaceful and allow to sneak into quiet and warm landscapes of Kampot. You will discover the rice fields, palm sugar , the local market and the making of bamboo and noodle baskets. Nobody tries to sell you anything during the tour, but feel free to support by buying a product if you wish.:) The locals let you into their homes and share their know-how. It's a nice exchange. To book, don't be afraid to call directly. Thank you Butterfly tours for these beautiful discoveries! Even tough we had already spent a few weeks in Cambodia we were still learning new things. The families were all very friendly and welcoming. Butterfly Tours did a great job picking a well organised route, that wasn´t too long. We had a lot of fun and would recommend the tour to everyone staying in Kampot! Traveler081208793412024-08-04Verified Great cycling tour Great cycling tour, this is our 3rd trip to Cambodia and our 4th cycling tour. It did not disappoint. Lots of local crafts shown, noodle making, basket weaving, palm sugar making. We visited pagoda, and cycled around local areas. Loved all little children shouting hello and waving to us. Basket weaving was my favourite, and we brought a basket. The weaver was very grateful, we were very pleased to support her hard work! Big boy recommend this company nice friendly staff, a good time had. Julie2024-02-05Verified Excellent tour An excellent tour. Our guide, Te was knowledgeable and friendly.
